JBL C100 TWS Review, How does it fare with the competition🔥🔥🔥

Well what’s the upcoming trend when it comes to mobile audio,?? Definitely, truly wireless earbuds. While smartphone brands like Xiaomi, Realme, One Plus are throwing new products into the fray, today we have an established audio brand who have recently launched their budget truly wireless earbuds, the JBL C100 TWS. Well, budget earbuds are just for the namesake, these earbuds sound as good as the premium ones. Let’s find out more.

First, let’s talk about the build quality. Robust ABS grade plastic take care of the outer shelling of the case and the earbuds which feels quite plush. The case is also quite well built and should last you for a couple of ears. The ear-plug quality is exception and the fitting is quite astounding, as if we had a doubt with JBL’s ear-plugs. Those were always the best in the industry in the corresponding segment. There are two extra pairs of ear-plugs in the box of different sizes and you may have to do a bit of a trial and error to find the best fit. Our biggest complaint, however, is the dated micro-usb port for charging, but we understand cost-cutting. The earbuds are comfortable for long duration usage and quite light that we don’t feel them much on our ears.

Talking about specifications and features, these earphones feature 5.8mm of dynamic drivers which takes care of all the bass, mids and highs which corresponds to 32 Ohms of impedance. The earbuds come with Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity with 10 meters of uninterrupted range. The earbuds come with button controls on both earbuds and integrated Google Assistant or Siri support. The company claims 5 hours of battery life on the earbuds which can be charged up to three times with the provided case.  This totals to about 15 hours of claimed battery life along with the case. However, in our testing we could only squeeze out 13 odd hours of overall juice. Comparing with the competition, this is quite good in terms of battery endurance. The earbuds support stereo calling via the in-built microphone and to our surprise the microphone quality is quite good. The earbuds come with quick charge support and 15 minutes of charging can give you about 1 hours of juice. However, the total charging is 2 hours.

When it comes to sound, JBL has nailed this department once again. The bass is considerably emphasized as mentioned in their marketing campaign and in my frank opinion it feels quite good on the ears. The stereo-suppression is excellent and so is the instrument suppression. The soundstage is surprisingly wide and all the frequencies can be heard quite well. The bass is emphasized, the mids are unbelievably crisp and clear and the highs are quite soothing. Thus, when it comes to sound quality, nothing comes close the JBL C100 TWS and for all the audiophiles out there, the C100 must be your primary pick.
Most importantly, the C100s are priced at Rs. 3,999 which makes it one of the most affordable truly wireless earbuds and if you are solely concerned with the sound, this must be the chosen one. The JBL C100 falls in direct competition with the Realme Buds AIR, The Mi Airdots and Noise Shots X3 Bass, Noise shots X5 Charge, Blaupunkt BTW01, etc. The only worthy competitor to the JBL C100 is Realme Buds Air.
